CRISTIANO GREGGIO – IZ3CQI

Born in Padova (Italy) in 1971, I work as R&D Electrical Engineer at Asea Brown Boveri. At the age of 7 I caught the ‘bug’ of Radio and since that time I live with this serious ‘illness’. Fascinated by sea and ships I dedicate much time to HF listening to maritime radio communication, mostly in search for CW signals. I am also frequently active on HFamateur bands on radiotelegraphy, only with homemade transmitters, preferably based on vacuum tubes technology.

Hello everyone ! I am the proud son of Cristiano and I enjoy playing with those nice knobs and buttons on dad’s desktop. I cannot also resist to squeeze the red paddles by which my dad is used to chat with his fellows across the world. One day … I will put my own signal into the air too.
