My age is 65 years and retired from active work end 2005. After getting my certificate as radio-officer 2nd class in 1966, i sailed the ocean on several kind of ships such as freighters, tankers, tugs and I ended in 1975 as r/o on a pipelaying barge Viking Piper/A8RZ. From 1975 till 1988 I worked at Scheveningenradio/PCH as operator. After that I worked for the Netherlands Radiocommunications Agency in various functions untill my retirement. I got my “Full Licence” in April 2005. My transceiver is a Yaesu FT-1000 Mk V Field with 100 W and my antenna is a 2x14m dipole feeded by an open line of 14m and a MFJ-974H balanced tuner. Also a FB-13 beam direction SE/NW. The height is 11m in the center and 6m at the ends. This system works fine for 10-160m. Also a FB-13 beam direction SE/NW.Mostly I am on CW. I often participate in contests. I will be glad to work you in any band.
