Juergen Gerpott (Germany)

Juergen GERPOTT    born   in     1945  in   Arendsee, Altmark. After   education   in Bremen became apprentice with “Hagenuk Radio Service” (Manufacturer of maritime radio equipment), went to Nautical Academy Bremen (Seefahrtschule) for 2nd class radio operator’s certificate.  After  working   several   years   for the famous Bremen shipping lines “DDG Hansa” and “O. Wallenius”,  became  a  civil   servant with “Deutscher Wetterdienst” (National Weather Service).  Amateur   Radio License (DL8HCI) since 1980.
