Born 29th january 1962 in Carrara (Toscana), in 1982 obtained the 1st class international certificate and gained ham license as ik5fxx; in 1983/1984 served in italian army as radio operator. From 1985 to 1986 R/O on board of ro/ro ships; from the late 1987 until 1994 worked in Genoa Radio ICB, in 1999 obtained the General G.M.D.S.S. Certificate.
From 1994 employed at Italian Ministry of Education in La Spezia, now living in Liguria operates the ham bands as ik1fxx.
