Pino DE IUDICIBUS (Italy)

My name is Giuseppe (Pino) De Iudicibus I am a former Radio Officer and now INORC member with number IN 648; I was born in Molfetta on 08 September 1958, at the age of 13 I discovered the Morse code that fascinated me. As an enthusiast, I decided to attend the School for ship’s Radiotelegraphist. At 18 years I obtained the International Certificate of First Class Radiotelegraphist for Merchant Ships with the qualification also for aircraft. Later I left for the Military Service and then at the end of the conscription I sailed on civilian merchant ships for some years as a Radio Officer. At the age of 21 I worked as a quarterly at the Coastal Radio Station of Ancona Radio (IPA); shortly after, I won a public competition for the coastal radio station of Roma Radio (IAR) but with bitterness I chose to stay in Puglia, my region, because in the meantime I have entered in  the world of School as Teacher and I definitively abandoned the career of Radio Officer. I am currently retired, but the passion for Telecommunications and in particular for Telegraphy – to which I have dedicated 54 years of my life – remained unchanged. Today I am active on HF band on Telegraphy, with call sign IK7OFI. Below some ships where I sailed on:
