Warren T Reese (USA)

I am “TR” and worked from 1976 until the station KPH closing in 1997.  The first 15 years as an operator, and the last 6 years as a transmitter technician.  Following the closure of KPH,  I  spent   2  years at a broadcasting group in San Francisco (KOIT, KDFC, KZQZ) as assistant to the Chief Engineer where I maintained transmitters & studios.  Following  that,  two  years  at  Agilent   Technologies   as  a   micro-wave technician,  and   after  that  2  years  at  KFS/KPH   as   a transmitter and receiver technician.  This last station KFS/KPH bears the same callsign, but has no live CW operators, it is completely computerized. I   am now retired at age 60, but may return to the workforce  in   another  one  or   two years.  I live in Eureka  and  my  amateur   callsign   is WB6TMY.  I am active in the National Traffic System (NTS) that is run by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) in the United States of America (USA).  We still handle messages on CW !
